What is a(n) SXC file?
The SXC (StarOffice Calc Spreadsheet) file format is used to store spreadsheet data created using the open-source StarOffice suite of productivity software. It is a native format used by StarOffice Calc, the spreadsheet component of this software. SXC documents support features like embedded charts, advanced formatting, and macros.
The SXC file format is based on the OpenDocument format (ODF) and stores URL links, images, and drawings in addition to text and numerical data. Data stored in an SXC file can be shared by other ODF-compliant programs such as Microsoft Office and Apache OpenOffice.

There could be multiple reasons for which the system does not support given file. In the case of SXC extension, it is probable that none of the installed programs support given file type. Therefore, user should undertake the following steps
Step 1: Install a program that supports SXC files
