What is a(n) WRF file?
WRF (WebEx Recording) is a proprietary file format used to store recordings of virtual events created with Cisco WebEx, an online meeting, webinar, and video conferencing system. WebEx recordings consist of audio, video, and other multimedia data. WRF files are encrypted, making them difficult to open with standard media players. WebEx offers an official recording editor and playback software, or the data can be converted to another format using a third-party program.
WRF files are divided into one or more sections for easier streaming and playback. Each file contains a Presentation Audio/Video section as well as optional Application or Desktop Sharing sections.
