What is a(n) PRJ file?

The PRJ file type is a file used to save project data and settings in a variety of programs like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, CorelDRAW and CompuPic. This type of file stores project information such as resolution settings, fonts, layer structure, composition settings, audio settings and more. When a user saves their project in any of these software applications, the data is stored in a PRJ file.
