What is a(n) PDO file?

The PDO (Pepakura Designer Format) is a digital model file format specifically designed to store and share 3D paper craft designs. The file format is developed by the Japanese software company TamaSoftware and is used mainly to create 3D paper craft models from two-dimensional image data such as CAD designs or scanned images. It stores this data in a grid structure and includes information about the model's components, like fabrics, textures, 3D patterns, cutting lines, etc.

PDO files are often used to create tangible products such as masks, props or clothing and can be opened, edited, and visualized using Pepakura Designer, a proprietary software developed by TamaSoftware. They are also compatible with other third-party applications like POSS or InkScape.
