The MODD format was created by Sony and is used, inter alia, in in the Sony Picture Motion Browser video analysis program. MODD files contain metadata from video captured with a Sony camera. These are, for example, data on the time and date of its recording. The files are stored alongside the M2TS or MPG format files.
