What is a(n) INK file?
INK (Mimio Ink Data Format) is an electronic file format used to save digital signatures and handwriting. The INK files are proprietary formats used by the Mimio interactive whiteboard hardware. It contains a record of the electronic ink strokes made by a digital pen in waveforms with timing values which provides more accurate results than saving individual point data for each pen stroke.
INK files can be opened with various software applications including MimioStudio, a software product from the same company as the Mimio. They can also be opened with some office suites like Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org to help create documents and presentations with your written assignments.
