DWF (Design Web Format) is an Autodesk file format for sharing 2D and 3D data and supporting information on the web. DWF files are often used as a secure, lightweight and non-editable alternative to other formats such as PDF, for viewing and transferring data between applications. DWF files can be opened with Autodesk's free DWF viewer software on both Windows and Mac operating systems.

DWF files are highly compressible and contain most of the information contained within the original CAD file.
