What is a(n) CBR file?
The CBR file format is a computer file format used to store digital copies of comic book pages, which can be read and displayed by a program called a ComicBook Reader. CBR files are created from images stored in ZIP files and marked with the .cbr file extension, allowing CBR readers to easily recognize and open them. The images contained in the CBR file will be either in .jpg, .png, or .gif format.
CBR files are an efficient way to read and archive comic books on a computer, as they take up considerably less space than their source images.
