C4D (Cinema 4D Model Format) is a 3D modeling file format used in Maxon Cinema 4D, a professional 3D animation and rendering software suite. It is used to store 3D objects, scenes, materials, and animation data. It can also store 3D rendering settings, animation curves, camera data, lighting information, textures, and even sounds. C4D files can be saved in the binary-based C4D format or the Text-based XML format.
