What is a(n) BRD file?
The BRD (Eagle Circuit Board File) is a proprietary file format used by the software package Eagle. It contains board designs for electrical circuits, including schematic drawings, circuit layouts, and bill of materials. The BRD files store a variety of data, including copper layers, silkscreen layers, and CAM job output.
Eagle allows users to design circuity boards of any size with components, traces, arcs, fills, manual routing, and drill information. The BRD files can be generated from Eagle schematic files (.sch) and include information on the board’s layers and objects.
