What is a(n) BPN file?
BPN (ArchiCAD Project Backup Format) is a file format used by Graphisoft ArchiCAD, a 3D CAD architectural design program. BPN files are used to backup project data and store it in a compressed format. The files are similar to ARCHICAD's GDL model files but are read-only and cannot be edited directly.
Since it is a backup file format, it can be used to store full copies of a project as well as incremental backups of a project.
