What is a(n) BDM file?
BDM (AVHCD Information Format) is a binary format that stores various information about AVCHD recordings. It contains information related to the structure and content of an AVCHD recording such as playback order, source clip definitions, or index data. BDM files are primarily used by professional video players and editing software.
BDM files can be stored in separate folders or bundled together with other video data. They typically have the .bdm file extension and are no larger than a few kilobytes.
