What is a(n) ABM file?
ABM (Photo Album) is an image container file format that was developed by the Sony Corporation. It contains multiple images that are stored in a hierarchical tree-like structure, with each image having attributes specified. The ABM format is used to create and view photo albums on digital photo frames. It efficiently organizes digital images, descriptions, thumbnails, etc. into an album, while still keeping the image quality intact.
ABM files have a .abm extension and can be opened and edited with Sony-manufactured photo viewing software as well as other third-party photo editing programs. It supports several compression types such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP and GIF. Any image data within an ABM file is encoded in binary form and hence cannot be read directly by a text editor.
How to open ABM file?
